I’m Baaa-aaaack!

Hey guys!  Long time no see!  I took a little blog hiatus and have been VERY busy since the last time I was here…what have I been up to?  A LOT, here is just a little taste of what I have been doing:

-I ran a 10k

-I went to Scotland

-I got MARRIED!

-I went to Croatia and London for my honeymoon

-We’ve started to get serious about home renovations

I promise that I’ll come back and cover everything that happened in the last 4 months, but today I wanted to start off with a fun little project that I did this weekend.

We have this weird wall in our living room that is flanked by two doors and I’ve been struggling to figure out what to do with it.  We have a TON of gorgeous wedding pictures that I want to display, so I decided to do a photo collage and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Here's the wall

First, I arranged the frames on the floor (frames from Ikea)

 

Then, I made templates from a grocery bag and marked where the nails needed to go

Then, I taped the templates to the wall, nailed through the paper and then tore the temples off

After tearing the templates off, I was left with a wall full of nails that were ready for picture frames.

Now, I’m off to sort through the 450 wedding pictures to find 8 worthy of the frame wall!
