Hmmm…where to start? I moved to Dallas, Texas in May of 2007 to peruse a career as an Interior Designer. I am currently working for an architecture firm in downtown Dallas and love it…some days. Before moving to Dallas, I lived in Fayetteville, Arkansas for 5 years while I was attending The University of Arkansas. And, before that, I lived in Arkadelphia, Arkansas-where I grew up.
My life has changed pretty drastically over the past year, most of which I had no control over. If you know me, then you know that I always have a plan. A plan for my life, my day, my meals…I guess that is the controlling side of my personality, I blame my parents 
. Anyway, when I lost control of my life there for a while I was not in a happy place. But, right now, today, I can say that I am very happy. I have gotten my life back on track and I honestly enjoy waking up everyday and just living.
I started this blog to keep my friends and family updated on what is going on in my life. I am blessed to have a wonderful family who enjoys hearing about every second of my life (or I think they do!) So when I moved to Dallas I found myself having to make a long series of phone calls every time something happened. Now, they can just check the blog. Of course, I still talk to most of them everyday, I just don’t have to repeat myself so much!
